Darlene Yake has served as Administrator of Morrow Manor Nursing Center since 1986. Her desire to become an Administrator stemmed from her original roots as a Nursing Assistant and member of the dining services staff. Darlene lives in Cardington with her husband Tim and their two children, Emily and Austin.
Karen Smith, RN, has been a Centerburg, Ohio resident for the last 25 years. She graduated from Perry High in Canton, Ohio in 1983. She attended Nursing school at the Mansfield School of Nursing and graduated in 1998. From there she moved on and to get her BSN from Excelsior College in 2015. Karen has been an RN for 23 years. In her free time she loves to travel, bake, and spend time with her family. She enjoys working for Levering Management because of the teamwork of her caregivers to keep residents safe in a positive environment.
Sheryl Westbrook has lived in Morrow County most of her life. She started her nursing career at Winchester Terrace (another Levering Management home) in 1993. In 1999, she had the opportunity to work at Morrow Manor Nursing Center where she enjoys caring for people from her community. Sheryl and her husband, Jerry, have three grown daughters and nine grandchildren. They enjoy camping, trail riding, attending their grandchildren’s activities, and spending time with family.
A native of Knox County, Connie graduated from Clear Fork High School and the Mid Ohio School of Practical Nursing at North Central Technical College. Connie’s career has spanned three decades in three different Levering Management Senior Living Facilities starting in 1976 at Hillcrest Nursing Center in the Food Service Department. Connie has worked at Country Court as a Nurse Aide, LPN and Charge Nurse RN. She became the Morrow Manor Director of Nursing and continues there as MDS Coordinator. Connie spends her free time with her family, especially on Family Game Night, which has become a night of laughter. Connie has two sons, a stepdaughter and three grandchildren. She and her husband enjoy fishing, boating, candle making and designing stained glass.
Luane Campbell is from Edison, Ohio. She graduated from Mt. Gilead High School in 1979, where she then attended and graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University with a Bachelors of Music, with an emphasis on education, in 1983. She received her her Masters in Education Curriculum, endorsement in Gifted and Talented Education in 1999 from Ashland University. She retired after teaching music for 37 years in June of 2020, and has been in our industry since September of 2020. She loves to travel, play her flute, and facilitate and participate in drum circles. She likes working for Levering Management because she loves being an activity director. It brings her joy to see smiles on the faces of her residents and hearing their hearty laughter.
